THE DESIGN DISCOVERY

Our starting point - before any commitment.

A half-day strategic session at your property where we explore whether we're the right partnership. We walk the site together, discuss your vision, conduct comprehensive analysis, and determine honest fit.

You receive written summary of opportunities and constraints, hand-drawn conceptual sketches, and clear framework for proceeding, or candid assessment if we're not aligned.

Investment: £1,000 (Incl vat), fully credited toward your project if we work together.

This ensures we're both serious about determining fit before committing to the full journey.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

8-12 weeks of comprehensive design work.

We begin with rigorous site analysis—understanding what exists before imagining what could be. From this foundation, we develop concepts exploring spatial organization, materials, and planting, refining iteratively based on your feedback until we arrive at the considered solution.

You receive complete construction documentation: scaled drawings, material specifications, detailed planting plans, 3D visualization where helpful, and comprehensive budget breakdown.

Investment: £5,000-£35,000 depending on project complexity and scale.

CONSTRUCTION

2-6 months where design becomes reality.

The designer builds, the builder designs. I remain personally involved throughout construction, working with our core team of specialist craftspeople. This integration ensures no gap between intention and execution. When site realities emerge, we adapt with design thinking still active.

We handle everything: groundwork, hard landscaping, structures, sophisticated planting, and final detailing. Quality shows in the details, precise stone laying, proper joinery, attention to drainage, clean edges and transitions.

LIVING WITH YOUR GARDEN

The work continues beyond planting.

We provide guidance for establishment and ongoing care, remain available for questions and observations during the first year, and maintain relationships with clients beyond project completion.

Gardens are living systems that evolve. We're invested in long-term success, not just finishing and disappearing.

INVESTMENT & TIMELINE

Typical projects are comprehensive transformations where scope allows full integration of design vision, construction craft, and ecological intelligence. While these typically start at £100,000, what matters most is whether project scope and vision align with our integrated approach, so this isn’t a ‘minimum’ budget.

Timeline: 8-14 months from The Design Discovery to completion. This isn't slow; it's thorough. Exceptional work requires appropriate time.

Breakdown:

Design Discovery & Decision: 2-3 weeks including scheduling and decision time.
Design Development: 8-12 weeks
Construction: 3-6 months
