Mark and team completed my garden transformation earlier this year, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Mark took my initial ideas and elevated them with some great ideas. We also developed the design and tweaked aspects to suit my budget. The quality of workmanship is exceptional, I’ really pleased with the results. During the works Mark and team communicated well throughout and kept me informed of progress, and were very diligent during the works clearing up and keeping the site tidy. Cannot speak highly enough of Mark and Ryan at Umber Design, who transformed our garden in Sept 2022. From our first contact we knew we were in safe, knowledgeable and professional hands, and they never let us down in these respects. The whole process was transparent about costs and timelines, with no pressure to spend more than we could afford, and Mark brought excellent design ideas and expertise which made us confident at every stage. He and Ryan were respectful and considerate to us, and to our neighbours, always kept us informed and consulted along the way, and were a good laugh too! It's clear that they care very much about doing a job properly and to their own high standards, which is not something that can always be taken for granted. The final product was our really beautiful garden that we're very proud of - it was worth every penny and we would recommend Umber Design without a moment's hesitation.

Mark has been fantastic from the initial consultation to the implementation. He's a great guy, very professional with really high standards and we have been delighted with the job that he has done and how tidy he left the garden. I must also mention our children's favourite Otto!

Our garden had been effectively left fallow, with a collapsing shed, terrible lawn and weeds overtaking the whole thing.
Earlier this year Mark came in, worked through a new design and then completely revamped the whole space - the garden equivalent of 'taking it back to brick' and starting again in a remarkably short amount of time.
We've ended up with a beautiful space filled with lots of planting with a Japanese theme, and a new decking area in a suntrap that was ready in time for summer. Given the great weatherwe had, it became our favourite living space, and we're both delighted and proud of a part of our house that used to be ignored.

Having asked Umber to build us a new wood shed and lawnmower store at the front of our property we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

The new building looks fantastic and is extremely practical. The attention to detail in design and finishing was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Umber, who came up with some creative solutions to the challenges the project threw up.

A really nice company to work with and the results are terrific.
