Behind Umber Garden Design is Mark Wright, a designer and landscaper with a lifelong connection to nature and craft. With a First-Class Honours degree in Design, RHS qualifications and years of hands-on experience in forestry, oak framing and drystone walling, Mark brings both artistry and technical depth to every project.
He believes great gardens are shaped through close attention, honest collaboration and respect for the land itself. Working directly on-site keeps his designs grounded in reality and ensures every space feels both enduring and alive.
